Bratz Tease New Game + Collab!

As the Bratz 20th Anniversary approaches, more news and products are being teased and released! This past Sunday, April 4th, the official Bratz Instagram account posted the following picture with the caption: “Find 5 Easter eggs in the comments of our previous posts from the last 3 months to reveal a secret message!”
Of course, most Bratz fans are professional detectives so it wasn’t long before they (including myself) found all the hints. The main three hints indicated a release date of April 30, 2021, with the two other hints being a game controller and a cell phone. Based on those hints, it was deduced that a game/phone app would be released on April 30th, which has now been confirmed by a new post today on their Instagram page with the following post:
Based on the latest Instagram post, there will definitely be a new Bratz game coming out via phone app on April 30th; a countdown featured on the Bratz Instagram page’s Stories also confirms this. This makes me wonder if this is the long-awaited Bratz Lookz that was announced back in December or an entirely new venture for the brand. The Bratz Lookz website (bratzlookz.com) was recently taken down, which raises the question if they are in the process of updating it for the platform’s release or if the project has been cancelled altogether. Only time will tell…
In other news, a new clothing collab between Bratz and Israel-based fashion brand Fix was announced this past weekend and launched yesterday. The collab is comprised mostly of Bratz-themed pajama sets and undergarments, as well as a cute Bratz sports bag and pair of slippers. The launch of the collab was supported by a marketing campaign featuring a photoshoot inspired by the Bratz Magazine office from the animated Bratz film, television, and video game series.
