Hey Angelz!

Welcome to the Bratz 2024 Masterpost! You know the drill… new year, new Bratz! This post will act as an organized resource for Bratz fans regarding news that comes out this year, and will be consistently updated with news as it comes out. Please keep in mind: If it’s not in this article, then I don’t have information on it! Please do not comment or message inquiring about information that is not featured in this article, because this is quite literally every piece of information publicly available.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Below is a table of contents for this article, which will jump you directly to the section you may be lookin’ for:

timeline of news

Below is a timeline of Bratz news that has come out during 2024. Please note that some smaller pieces of news, such as some licensing collabs or items, may be missing as it has been difficult to keep track of all of the products that have been coming out and some releases are not as important. Each piece of news in this timeline will have a hyperlink (meaning it is underlined and clicking on it will lead you to an external page) with more information regarding that piece of news, so make sure to click on them for more detailed information. Some news pieces for 2024 came out during 2023, so make sure to check out the Bratz 2023 Masterpost in case you missed anything last year!

LIST OF RELEASED AND UPCOMING DOLLS + LINKS

Please read this section before using the links! Below is a list of Bratz dolls that have been released and are expected to be released in 2024, as well as some dolls that came out in late 2023 but are considered Spring 2024 releases. Some dolls may have hyperlinks that will lead to their Amazon listings, but may not be available to purchase depending on if the doll has been released or not. Some links may not work as they are deactivated by MGA until the product is released. Some links are not yet available. Please note that information regarding details about the dolls and release dates are subject to change.

If you are not from the United States and would like to view the link on your country’s Amazon site, change the .com domain extension to your country’s domain extension. For example, if you live in the United Kingdom, you will change the .com portion of the link to .co.uk. Please note that this method may not work for every country, and it may be dependent on whether or not your country’s Amazon site has the listing activated.

Some dolls may be available for pre-order, but do not worry if they are not; the dolls will be available once they are officially announced and released by MGA. Please note that missing a “pre-order” does NOT mean you will not get the doll eventually. For some listings, the “pre-order” option is something enabled by Amazon and will likely be deactivated at some point because the dolls are not available yet. This also means that, at any point, Amazon may deactivate the listings so make sure to use the “Add to List” feature on any listings you want to keep track of because the links will likely not activate again until the dolls are released. If a listing says “currenty unavailable" or “temporarily out of stock”, that does not mean anything; the link still works and the listing will be activated once the product is released, you just won’t have the option to “pre-order” the product. These are mass-produced dolls and there are more than enough to go around, just have patience!

Some links below are affiliate links and therefore monetized—using these links helps support LookinBratz.com and keeping it live. Please note that the links for each doll are hyperlinks, so they are underlined. You can also find the links organized on my Amazon storefront.

  • Mini Bratz Series 4 ($9.99 USD; expected to be released sometime in 2024)

    • In September 2023, Isaac Larian posted a teaser of upcoming Mini Bratz. In the picture, the display shows several new collections to be added to the Mini Bratz lineup, a new PDQ display that does not have repeats, and updated green capsules. Based off what has been revealed to be part of Mini Bratz Series 3 and what is left in the showroom display, Mini Bratz Series 4 will include scaled-down reproductions of:

      • Princess and the Wicked Twiins

      • Live In Concert Jade and Yasmin

      • Treasures

      • Funky Fashion Makeover Jade

      • Flashback Fever and the Retro-Ride Van playset

  • Mini Bratz Babyz ($9.99 USD; expected to be released sometime in 2024)

    • Target inventory listings for Mini Bratz Babyz were found in December 2023. These will likely be miniature replicas of Bratz Babyz dolls from their original era (2004-2008). The capsules will retail for $9.99 USD, and will likely come with 2 mini dolls OR 1 doll and an accessory/playset. These will probably be mini figures similar to the current Mini Bratz lineup and NOT replicas of the Itsy Bitsy Bratz line.

  • Bratz Big Babyz Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha, and Jade (pricing and release details unknown)

    • Reproductions of the first wave of Bratz Big Babyz were teased by Isaac Larian at Nuremberg Toy Fair, but no other details or pictures have been released.

  • Bratz Slumber Party Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha, Jade, and Meygan ($34.99 USD; expected to be released sometime in 2024)

Bratz released a poll in December 2022 asking fans if they would like one of the following lines to come back: Fashion Pixiez, Tokyo A Go-Go, Slumber Party, or Sun-Kissed Summer. Slumber Party was confirmed in December 2023 via Target’s inventory system.

    • It is unknown if this will be a reproduction of the first or second edition of the Slumber Party line, both of which you can compare here.

    • There are no details or description for this collection yet, nor has a designer been revealed. Each listing is titled “TBD” meaning “to be determined”. All that is known is that the dolls will come with two outfits, two pairs of shoes, accessories, and a dress form with stand.

    • Please note that the Bratz x Mowalola stock pictures are used as placeholders for these listings. This does not mean anything other than it being a placeholder.

    • This release was originally expected to come out in Fall 2023, but has likely been pushed to 2024 or is cancelled.

where will the dolls be released?

The upcoming Bratz dolls will likely be released wherever the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls were sold. In the United States, Bratz dolls can typically be found online or in-store at retailers like Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Toys”R”Us at Macy’s. I will not be posting about each retailer receiving the upcoming Bratz dolls. International fans may have luck checking the retailers listed on MGA Entertainment’s Where To Buy webpage or contacting their international offices for more info; contacting local retailers is also a good option. I am currently working on a list of retailers that offer Bratz in different countries, so stay tuned for that in the near future! Bratz.com and LOLSurprise.com also sell Bratz dolls and ship to several countries.

Another recommendation for international fans is to buy directly from the Amazon US site and have the products imported to your country, in the case that the dolls are not sold on your country’s Amazon site. You can find Amazon links (unless otherwise unavailable) for all the upcoming releases in the List of Released and Upcoming Dolls + Links section of this article!

upcoming bratz media (movies, shows, music, video games)

In August 2023, MGA Entertainment announced a new series titled Alwayz Bratz that follows the Bratz as adults (about 21-years old in age) as they try to pitch a television series to a streaming network; the series consists of 13 two-minute episodes and premiered on September 15, 2023. Alwayz Bratz can be streamed on the official Bratz TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. The season finale was released on December 8, 2023. On January 1, 2024 in a now-deleted caption, the official Bratz Instagram account confirmed there would be a second season of Alwayz Bratz—it is unknown what direction or format the series will continue with.

There has been no indication that a new Bratz movie will be coming out, though Isaac Larian teased that he would like to produce a theatrical Bratz film for 2026. A new film remains unconfirmed.

In September 2023, Bratz released a new single titled “We’re The Bratz”—the theme song of their Alwayz Bratz series, which can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. There has been no news of more Bratz music being released. On that note, I do not have information on why the Genie Magic, Fashion Pixiez, and Girlz Really Rock albums are not available on streaming services.

In November 2022, Outright Games released the video game Bratz Flaunt Your Fashion for the PC, PS4 and PS5, XBox One and Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and on Steam. Outright Games has released an update and two DLC packs for the game between May and September 2023, and re-released the main game along with the additional content in a “Complete Edition” of the game in October 2023. Check out more details on the game’s official website! There have been no indicators that a follow-up is in the works.

WHY ARE YOU NOT POSTING CERTAIN DOLL LEAKS?

Images of some upcoming Bratz dolls have leaked earlier than their stock images were officially posted. This is usually due to factory workers putting dolls or rejects up for sale on secondhand market sites. Unfortunately, there are often repercussions to posting these leaked images to social media which can result in copyright strikes from companies that can further lead to more drastic measures, such as account takedowns. I will not be posting certain leaks, such as images from factory workers or those who buy from secondhand sites prior to a doll’s official reveal, to protect my website and corresponding social media accounts. Additionally, past Bratz releases have been misjudged by others before getting an actual reveal due to poorly-taken images of dolls that are sometimes in the early stages of production; because of this, I do not want to encourage folks to misjudge products before they get to actually experience them. I also find it disrespectful to the folks at MGA Entertainment working on the brand, as well as their collaborators who have been harassed because their designs were not well-received before official reveals or announcements.

where will the dolls be released?

The upcoming Bratz dolls will likely be released wherever the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls were sold. In the United States, Bratz dolls can typically be found online or in-store at retailers like Target, Walmart, or Amazon. I will not be posting about each retailer receiving the upcoming Bratz dolls. International fans may have luck checking the retailers listed on MGA Entertainment’s Where To Buy webpage or contacting their international offices for more info; contacting local retailers is also a good option. Bratz.com and LOLSurprise.com also sell Bratz dolls and ship to several countries!

upcoming bratz media (movies, shows, music, video games)

Based on the popularity of animated social media posts like the brand’s Euphoria parody, many fans are wondering if a new Bratz series is in the works. An MGA job listing from February 2022 indicated that a new Bratz series would be on the way in Fall 2022, but this did not come to fruition. In November 2022, Olivia Hack (Cloe’s voice actress) confirmed she was in the studio recording voice lines for Cloe and hinted that new Bratz media may be on the way, though this may have been for social media posts. By mid-November, MGA Entertainment acquired Pixel Zoo studios and intends on rebranding it to MGA Studios to create more original content for its properties; this may mean that MGA could use their new animation studio to produce new Bratz media.

There has been no indication that a new Bratz movie will be coming out. In September 2023, Bratz released a new single titled “We’re The Bratz”—the theme song of their Alwayz Bratz series, which can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.

In November 2022, Outright Games released the video game Bratz Flaunt Your Fashion for the PC, PS4 and PS5, XBox One and Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and on Steam. There have been no indicators that a follow-up is in the works. Outright Games has released an update and two DLC packs for the game between May and September 2023, and re-released the main game along with the additional content in a “Complete Edition” of the game in October 2023. Check out more details on the game’s official website!

WHY ARE YOU NOT POSTING CERTAIN DOLL LEAKS?

Images of some upcoming Bratz dolls have leaked earlier than their stock images were officially posted. This is usually due to factory workers putting dolls or rejects up for sale on secondhand market sites. Unfortunately, there are often repercussions to posting these leaked images to social media which can result in copyright strikes from companies that can further lead to more drastic measures.

Bratz 2022 Masterpost (Upcoming Dolls + Links, Media, and More!) (UPDATED 12/28/22)

Hey Angelz!

As we approach the twenty-first anniversary of Bratz, I wanted to create a new masterpost with all the news that has and will come out for the brand in 2022. This post will act as an organized resource for Bratz fans regarding news that comes out this year, and will be consistently updated with news as it comes out.

TIMELINE OF NEWS

Below is a timeline of Bratz news that has come out during 2022. Please note that some apparel/merch news may be missing as it has been difficult to keep track of all of the licensed products that have been coming out. Each piece of news in this timeline will have a hyperlink with more information regarding that piece of news.

LIST OF RELEASED AND UPCOMING DOLLS + LINKS

Below is a list of Bratz dolls that have been released and are expected to be released in 2022. Some dolls may have hyperlinks that will lead to their Amazon listings, but may not be available to purchase depending on if the doll has been released or not. On that note, some dolls may be available for pre-order but do not worry if they are not; the dolls will be available once they are officially announced and released by MGA. Some links may not work as they are disabled by MGA until the product is released. Some links are not yet available. Please note that information regarding details about the dolls and release dates are subject to change. Some dolls listed toward the end are for 2023.

Please note that a “pre-order” may not guarantee you will receive a doll, and that “missing” a “pre-order” does NOT mean you will not get the doll eventually. The “pre-order” option is just something enabled by Amazon and will likely be deactivated at some point because the dolls are not available yet. This also means that, at any point, Amazon may deactivate the listings so make sure to “Add to List” any listings you want to keep track of because the links will likely not activate again until the dolls are released. If a listing says “currenty unavailable" or “temporarily out of stock”, that does not mean anything; the link still works and the listing will be activated once the product is released, you just won’t have the option to “pre-order” the product.

  • Bratz Series 3 D, F, G, T, and P ($26.99 USD; expected to be released in July 2023)

    • The characters for this collection are unconfirmed. The letters being used for each listing can either represent a character name OR a collection name, as this was the method used for the Series 2 dolls (i.e. the “M” listing meant Meygan, while the “O” listing meant Ooh La La Kumi). This is completely up to interpretation until the dolls are officially released.

    • There is not description for this collection yet, but are expected to be near-exact replicas of original dolls released between 2002-2005 and will come with two outfits including shoes, earrings, jacket/wrap, sunglasses/headband/hat, a hair brush, and will be packaged in a trapezoid box.

    • Please note that the listings use the Series 2 stock pictures as placeholders. This does not meaning anything other than the pictures being used as placeholders.

  • Bratz Designer Dolls Character 1 and Character 2 ($60.99 USD; expected to be released in August 2023)

    • There are no details or description for this collection yet, nor has a designer been revealed. Each listing is titled “TBD” meaning “to be determined”. All that is known is that the dolls will come with two outfits, two pairs of shoes, accessories, and a dress form with stand.

    • Please not that the Bratz x Mowalola Felicia stock picture is used as a placeholder on the Character 2 listing. This does not mean anything other than it being a placeholder.

  • Bratz Celebrity Collector Doll ($79.99 USD; expected to be released in October 2023)

    • There are no details or description for this doll yet, nor has the celebrity it will be based on been revealed. All that is known is that the doll will come with two outfits, two pairs of shoes, accessories, and a dress form with stand.

  • WHERE WILL THE DOLLS BE RELEASED?

The upcoming Bratz dolls will likely be released wherever the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls were sold. I will not be posting about each retailer receiving the upcoming Bratz dolls. International fans may have luck checking the retailers listed on MGA Entertainment’s Where To Buy webpage or contacting their international offices for more info; contacting local retailers is also a good option.

UPCOMING BRATZ MEDIA (MOVIES, SHOWS, MUSIC, VIDEO GAMES)

At this time, the only Bratz media that is ongoing is their TikTok series Talking Bratz. An MGA job listing has confirmed that a Bratz series may be on the way this Fall 2022. In November 2022, Olivia Hack (Cloe’s voice actress) confirmed she was in the studio recording voice lines for Cloe and hinted that new Bratz media may be on the way; by mid-November, MGA Entertainment acquired Pixel Zoo studios and intends on rebranding it to MGA Studios to create more original content for its properties.

There has been no indication that a new Bratz movie will be coming out. A Bratz TV theme remix has come out, but there have been no indicators that other new music will be released from the brand.

In exciting yet unexpected news, information regarding a new Bratz video game from Outright Games—the makers of Total Fashion Makeover—was discovered in July. The game is called Bratz Flaunt Your Fashion and is expected to release for the PC, PS4 and PS5, XBox One and Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and on Steam. The game was released on November 4, 2022. Check out more details on the game’s official website!

As mentioned earlier in the article, I will consistently update this post to include any news that comes out in 2022. For more up-to-date news on the Girls with a Passion for Fashion, make sure to check out Lookin’ Bratz on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok!

Bratz x GCDS Collection: What We Know So Far! (UPDATED 12/01/21)

Hey Angelz!

With Rock Angelz being delayed and Holiday Felicia not being released yet, who would’ve thought we’d be getting the Bratz Designer dolls so quickly? So much news has come out regarding upcoming Bratz releases, but nothing has intrigued fans more than the Bratz x GCDS collaboration. Fans were shook when doll collector Jian Yang found the Bratz x GCDS Designer Sasha and Yasmin dolls at a Toys”R”Us store in Singapore nearly two weeks ago. The news even made its way to Diet Prada, and now the dolls and collection are ready to launch! For all of the information available regarding the Bratz x GCDS collaboration, check out the rest of this article for a breakdown of details!

WHAT DO THE DOLLS LOOK LIKE?

While Jian Yang took initial images of the new Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls on shelves and several people have since received dolls they pre-ordered from Amazon, official stock pictures have been published by NYLON Magazine. Check them out below!

If you’re concerned that Sasha and Yasmin’s skintones look lighter in their stock pictures, do not worry! The lighting used in these stock pictures are bright and do not accurately reflect the actual dolls’ skintones, which are the classic Sasha and Yasmin skintones.

WHAT DO THE DOLLS COME WITH?

The Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls come with all-new clothing designed by GCDS designer and co-founder Giuliano Calza, featuring brand-new accessory and shoe molds! Sasha comes with earrings and a purse, while Yasmin comes with earrings, sunglasses, and a purse. Each doll comes in special packaging with a display window. A stand and certificate of authenticity are included with each doll. There is no second outfit packaged with either doll.

WHAT ABOUT CLOE AND JADE?

While a listing for a Designer Jade doll has circulated on Amazon, it has been confirmed that only Sasha and Yasmin will be released as part of this line. Cloe and Jade are featured in the packaging artwork, on Yasmin’s dress, and several of the life-size fashion pieces being released alongside the dolls. Giuliano Calza has stated in a WWD article that his initial idea for the collaboration was to create an “army of dolls", but that this idea was too complicated. Yasmin’s box states that her shoes are “borrowed from Cloe”, which may be Calza’s way of integrating the other characters without featuring them in the line. Hopefully we will see more GCDS dolls or collaborations between Bratz and other fashion houses if this collaboration proves to be a success!

HOW MUCH WILL THEY COST?

There have been some conflicting prices regarding the upcoming Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls. A recent Amazon listing suggested that the price of each doll will be $60.99 USD, while the NYLON Magazine article suggests the dolls will be $85; however, it should be noted that it is unknown which currency NYLON is referring to or if this price will be exclusive to the GCDS website. Hopefully GCDS and/or MGA Entertainment addresses the price point(s) of the dolls soon.

WHEN WILL THEY BE RELEASED?

According to a post made by GCDS on Instagram, the dolls will be available this Wednesday, December 1st.

WHERE WILL THEY BE RELEASED AND WILL IT BE WORLDWIDE?

As far as we know, the Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls will be released on the GCDS website on Wednesday, December, 1st at 5pm CET (Central European Time). GCDS has stated that the dolls will be available worldwide on their website and will be “in stores”. As to which stores GCDS is referring to is unknown, but perhaps they are referring to the Bratz x GCDS pop-up shops that will open up in December at select locations. Keep reading this article for more details on that.

The dolls were initially found at Toys”R”Us in Singapore and were available for pre-order on Amazon for a short time, so it is safe to assume that the GCDS dolls will also be available where the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls have been released. Amazon has, so far, made most of the recent Bratz releases available worldwide, so it can be assumed that most fans with access to Amazon in their countries will be able to purchase them on Amazon. Some Canadian fans have had luck pre-ordering Bratz from GameStop, so that may be an option for Canadian fans.

As to when they will drop outside of GCDS.com is unknown, but I would recommend staying tuned to the official Bratz and GCDS social media channels for those details! I will no longer be posting about each country receiving the dolls, so make sure to search on your own and share info with others. You can also check out MGA’s Where To Buy webpage or contact MGA’s international offices to find out if the Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls will be coming to a retailer near you!

ARE THERE LINKS TO THE DOLLS?

There are links to the Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls for Amazon, but they have since been deactivated by MGA because they were posted too early. The listings will likely be active again once MGA/Bratz officially announces when the dolls are available to order. Here are the links to the dolls, but keep in mind that the Amazon links are deactivated and the Walmart link has not been properly updated:

WHAT ABOUT PRE-ORDERS?

Truthfully, pre-orders may be pointless with Bratz releases. Some European fans have already received their Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls from Amazon pre-orders, but that is only because Amazon made a mistake by posting the listings too early and sending out the dolls as soon as they came in stock. Considering that the dolls will be available soon, I would recommend being patient and not counting on the ability to pre-order. But, of course, anything can happen!

ARE THESE DOLLS LIMITED OR EXCLUSIVE?

The Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls do not appear to be exclusive to any retailers or countries, but they will be limited edition! The WWD article initially stated that 500,000 dolls were made, but a source of mine from MGA has told me that less quantities of these dolls were made. According to my source, approximately 30,000 dolls have been made; whether or not this is split between Sasha and Yasmin or if this quantity was produced for each character is unknown. The 500,000 number may have been in reference to the clothing pieces being released alongside the dolls.

WHAT ABOUT QUALITY CONTROL?

Based on stock and customer pictures from people who received the dolls from pre-ordering on Amazon, the Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls may run into a few quality control issues. Fortunately, the only common quality control issue appears to be with the alignment of Sasha’s lipstick not being completely filled in where her lipliner is on her top lip. Other issues may arise, but only time will tell what may happen. The dolls appear to be UV-printed like Rock Angelz and Holiday Felicia are believed to be, and have premium nylon hair based on what people who received them have been saying.

WHAT ABOUT ROCK ANGELZ AND HOLIDAY FELICIA?

There have been no new updates regarding the Rock Angelz release and very little news regarding the Holiday Felicia release. Feel free to check out the Rock Angelz: What We Know So Far! and Holiday Felicia: What We Know So Far! articles for all details available on those releases. I do suspect Felicia will be widely released very soon though…

WHAT ABOUT SWEET HEART MEYGAN?

A picture of the new reproduction of Sweet Heart Meygan surfaced this past week, but there are no other details regarding her release at the moment. Be patient and wait while we enjoy the latest GCDS and Holiday Felicia releases!

IS THERE MORE TO THE BRATZ X GCDS COLLECTION?

There is! But not in the form of dolls. The Bratz x GCDS collaboration will feature a clothing and accessory collection, as well as a “Bratzology” book. Not many details have been released about these products, but they are expected to drop on the GCDS website alongside the dolls. Check out the gallery below to check out images of what has been revealed via NYLON Magazine!

According to NYLON Magazine, the clothing pieces will range between $150 to $600. There is also a mention of accessories that will range between $20 to $50, but it is unknown if these will be human-sized or doll-sized.

Some fans took note of a set featured in the recent Bratz x GCDS photoshoot and wondered if this means a new playset will be coming out. Unfortunately, this set was custom made for the photoshoot and will not be released as far as we know. A behind-the-scenes video of the making of the set can be found in a Vogue Italia article about the collaboration. The set was created by miniature set designer Aleia Murawski.

WILL THERE BE A DUA LIPA DOLL?

No. There will not be a mass-produced Dua Lipa doll as part of the Bratz x GCDS collection. Dua Lipa recently posted about receiving a custom one-of-a-kind doll along with a photograph of her doll posed with a Bratz-sized replica of GCDS designer and co-founder Giuliano Calza. Calza has designed several other custom dolls which have yet to be revealed. None of these custom dolls will be available for purchase. The only dolls that will be made available to purchase, as far as we know, are the mass-produced Sasha and Yasmin dolls.

WHAT ABOUT THE POP-UP STORES?

Several pop-up stores for the Bratz x GCDS collaboration will open in select areas between December 1st and December 31st. The pop-up shops will include life-size statues of the Bratz dolls wearing GCDS clothing, which will be sculpted by artist Colin Christian; he has already teased some images of them on his Instagram! According to NYLON Magazine, the pop-up shops will be located in Milan’s luxury shopping district Via Sant’Andrea, London, Rome, and Los Angeles.

If any other news pops up, it will definitely be posted across all of the Lookin’ Bratz social media platforms and this article will be updated accordingly. This is ALL of the information I have based on what information has been made available. If you have any burning questions regarding the release or need more information, try reaching out to GCDS or MGA Entertainment; or, you can wait for their social media posts to learn more. I also recommend reading the articles from NYLON, Vogue Italia, and WWD linked throughout the article as they provide more insight to the collaboration and release.

UPDATE 12/01/21: On their official Instagram account, Bratz confirmed that the Bratz x GCDS Designer dolls will be available on GCDS.com, the GCDS pop-up stores, Amazon.com, Target.com, and Walmart.com on Wednesday, December 1st. They have not provided a time that the dolls will launch on Amazon, Target, or Walmart, but the GCDS.com launch will still take place at 5pm CET and the pop-up stores at Peter Street Soho (London), Via Sant’Andrea (Milan, Italy), and in Rome (Italy). No updates or information have been provided about other pop-up locations, and the available information is collected from the GCDS Instagram page. Target’s website has the dolls listed for $59.99 USD, so it is safe to assume that is the official price except for the GCDS website which may use a different currency.

Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia: What We Know So Far! (UPDATED 12/01/21)

Hey Angelz!

If you follow Lookin’ Bratz on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook (and if you aren’t, perhaps it’s time to reconsider), then you know that the rumored Bratz Holiday Felicia is officially coming out soon! While details are scarce right now, I have compiled all the available information into this article. Keep reading if you want to learn more about the upcoming Bratz Holiday Felicia release!

WHO IS FELICIA?

If you’re a casual Bratz fan and don’t know many of the secondary characters, Felicia is a character introduced in 2005 in the Campfire collection. Felicia was later featured in the Sweet Dreamz Pajama Party collection (both as a doll and styling head) and as a Big Babyz in 2006, and has not been produced since. Attempts to produce Felicia in other collections, such as the regular Babyz line (I was lucky enough to score a factory sample of this doll earlier this year, which you can check out here) and a Hello My Name Is follow-up in 2016, yet never made it to production. Because of how seldom Felicia was featured in the Bratz lineup, she has become sought after by many collectors. Felicia has the darkest skintone in the Bratz doll lineup, and is the only character in the brand to have it. The Bratz social media channels have increasingly featured Felicia in their posts since their twentieth anniversary comeback, even making her the host of their TikTok series Talking Bratz, so this release is a pleasant surprise for most fans waiting for her to come back in doll form. The release of the upcoming Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia doll is Felicia’s first appearance in fifteen years and will make Bratztory as the brand’s first Black Holiday doll. You can read more about Felicia on her character profile in Stilesville Central.

WHAT DOES FELICIA LOOK LIKE?

Pictures of the new Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia doll were revealed this past Monday when stock pictures were posted on the Amazon UK website. Check out the gallery to see all the pics (click on an image to see it in gallery view)!

WHAT DOES FELICIA COME WITH?

CLICK TO ENLARGE: A banner featuring Bratz Holiday Felicia’s artwork.

Per the photos above, the Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia doll comes with a two-piece gown, faux-fur shawl, silver strappy heels, a doll-sized bracelet, doll-sized earrings, a brocade purse, and a human-sized bracelet made in collaboration with Jasmin Larian’s fashion brand Cult Gaia. In case you don’t know who Jasmin Larian is, she is MGA Entertainment CEO Isaac Larian’s daughter, the inspiration behind Yasmin, a fashion designer, and director of the Bratz brand! The Cult Gaia bracelet features the iconic Funkhouse typeface to spell out “Bratz”, as well as a “Cult Gaia” and “20 Yearz” charm, on a gold chain. Another feature to note is that Felicia has an articulated body (meaning her arm joints are fully poseable) and reuses the Collector body mold from 2018, and is the first doll in the brand to have an articulated body in her skintone.

WILL THE BRACELET FIT ADULTS AND WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

At this time, it is unknown who the bracelet will fit and what material it is made of. However, the recommended age on the box is listed as “14+” and the hand featured in the stock photo appears to be an adult hand, so it may be safe to assume the bracelet is intended for adults. Also, Cult Gaia is a luxury fashion brand; thus, the bracelet is likely made of a durable material.

IS FELICIA A RE-RELEASE?

No, the Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia doll is the first non-reproduction doll released as part of the brand’s twentieth anniversary. The release was originally intended to be a re-release of Holiday Trinity from 2006, but a listing later confirmed that the doll had been changed to Felicia. Though Felicia is the first non-reproduction doll from this era, her gown is a recolored and modified version of Trinity’s pink gown. Additionally, the artwork featured on Felicia’s packaging is based on Trinity’s original artwork.

HOW MUCH WILL FELICIA COST?

The price for the Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia doll has not yet been confirmed. A Walmart listing has Felicia listed for $54.99 USD, but this is subject to change.

WHEN IS FELICIA BEING RELEASED?

CLICK TO ENLARGE: Two responses from MGA Customer Care regarding Bratz Holiday Felicia’s release.

As far as we know, there is no release date for the Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia doll. Because stock pictures of Felicia have already been published on Amazon and Walmart’s websites, it is safe to assume that Felicia will be available soon. According to a MGA Customer Care representative, Felicia is expected to arrive in Amazon’s warehouses “by the end of November”. Keep your eyes peeled to the official Bratz social media channels to see what details they provide once they officially announce Felicia’s release.

WHERE CAN FELICIA BE PURCHASED?

So far, Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia has only been listed on Amazon and Walmart’s websites. She is not available to purchase or pre-order yet. Some people have managed to pre-order her on Amazon because the function was made available too early for a short amount of time. She will be available to order and possibly available to pre-order once MGA and Bratz have officially announced her release. Several Canadian fans have stated being able to pre-order Felicia from GameStop in Canada, so perhaps Canadian fans should keep an eye out there for Felicia or call up their local GameStop to see if they can order her.

WILL FELICIA BE AVAILABLE INTERNATIONALLY?

Like the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition release earlier this year, the Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia doll will likely be available on Amazon internationally (meaning outside of the United States). Whether or not other retailers will receive Felicia is unknown. For a list of international retailers that Bratz are typically sold in, click here. You can also contact MGA Entertainment’s international offices here to find out if Felicia will be sold at retailers in your country!

ARE THERE LINKS FOR FELICIA?

Here are the links that have been found for Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia:

IS FELICIA LIMITED EDITION OR EXCLUSIVE?

The description for Bratz Holiday 20 Yearz Special Edition Felicia is described to be “limited edition”. How many Felicia dolls that are being produced remains a question, but a MGA Customer Care representative has stated that Amazon will receive several shipments of her. Felicia does not appear to be exclusive to any retailer as her listing has been found on Amazon and Walmart’s website as well as Target’s inventory system, but this is subject to change.

WHAT ABOUT QUALITY CONTROL?

Because of face alignment issues with the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition and Bratz Rock Angelz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls, fans have been skeptical about the quality control of upcoming Bratz releases. As far as we know, based on the stock pictures, Felicia does not have as many flaws compared to some of the other Bratz dolls released this year. Minor issues are bound to occur, but only time will tell if Felicia will experience the same issues as her twentieth anniversary predecessors!

WHAT ABOUT THE ORIGINAL AND ROCK ANGELZ DOLLS?

For more information on the reproductions of the original 2001 Bratz dolls, click here. For more information on the reproductions of the Bratz Rock Angelz dolls, click here.

ARE MORE BRATZ DOLLS COMING OUT THIS YEAR?

Only time will tell if more Bratz dolls will be released this year. With Holiday Felicia on the way by the end of this month, there is still room to release more dolls. It should be noted that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted toy releases this year, so there may be delays in the Bratz release schedule. Some releases will likely be released in 2022, such as the reproduction of Sweetheart Meygan whose release date has been moved to March 2022 according to Amazon. A full list of expected upcoming dolls can be found here.

WHEN ARE YOU UPDATING THE LOOKIN’ BRATZ DATABASE?

This isn’t a question regarding Holiday Felicia, but I will be trying my best to update the Lookin’ Bratz database as soon as possible! The Bratz brand has released tons of products since the last update, and keeping track of those products along with pre-existing products that I have collected information on has been difficult. Please be patient if you are looking forward to an update!

This article will be updated with any new information that may come out. Stay tuned to LookinBratz.com for more news on the Girls with a Passion for Fashion, and make sure to check out Lookin’ Bratz on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok for more scorchin’ Bratz content and news!

UPDATE 11/30/21: There are no new updates on the release of Holiday Felicia. The only thing to note is that people currently receiving Holiday Felicia dolls pre-ordered her from GameStop in Canada. Hopefully this means that she will be widely available soon and MGA/Bratz will officially announce her release.

UPDATE 12/01/21: Felicia has been listed on Target.com. Check the “Are There Links for Felicia?” section of this article to get a link!
